Fulcrum backs up your data on an automated schedule in case of any data integrity issues. The backups are immutable, and there is a process to restore it wholesale in the case of any user, system, or environmental failures. Backups are snapshotted and stored according to the following schedule:

Frequency Every Retention
Hourly 2 hours 2 days
Daily 7 days
Weekly Saturday 4 weeks
Monthly Last day of month 12 months

Wholesale backups will lose any interim transactions (picking, inventory, document creation), so we don’t recommend this process as normal procedure.

Fulcrum “soft” deletes most data when a user or backend system deletes records. This means in many cases, records remain in the database but disappear from all UI, calculations, and reports, to allow for easier recovery in the off-chance something was accidentally deleted.
