Regardless of hardware, Internet Explorer should generally be avoided. Outside of that, performance is best on Chrome, followed by Firefox. Safari and Edge are both compatible but may process slower.

“How do I know how many devices I need?”

The best way to think about this is that we do not want the devices themselves becoming the bottleneck in your process. If operator A is ready to start working on a job, but is waiting for the device currently with operator B, they are most likely going to avoid Fulcrum all together and start their work.

Find a strategy that work’s best for you. Maybe start small, and gradually add from there as needed.

Fulcrum does have a mobile version of job tracking. This can be helpful for companies that allow phones to be used on the shop floor, but should not be viewed as a replacement for tablets and computers.
