Your laser / plasma / waterjet operations will need to be set as “Nestable.” This can be done within the System Data > Operation page.

When setting up equipment in Fulcrum, any laser / plasma / waterjet equipment will need Material Feed Rates entered. This will allow Fulcrum to estimate operation durations based on equipment capabilities and material types.

The bill of materials on the quote will be required to call out Fulcrum material

The “nestable” operation within the routing will be required to have the dxf file attached directly to it.

Note that the “Operation Attachment” is different than the item attachment. You can click into the operation in your routing, then toggle to “Attachments” to add an operation-specific attachment.

In a quote, Fulcrum will allow you to calculate a rough nest for more detailed material costing. In order to do this, Fulcrum Materials need to be used in your BOM as well as dxf files found within your nestable operations.
