Fulcrum Jobs

In Fulcrum, a job is the command for your team to produce an item. In your business, you may call this a work order (a work order is entirely different in Fulcrum, as you will soon find out!) When you receive an order from a customer, you will (likely) create a job for each line item on that order. If you are running low on a component that you keep to stock, you will create a job to replenish this inventory.

Job Grid Filters

• Late - This will show you any jobs where the “End Date” (estimated end date based on the schedule) is greater than the Production Due Date
• Due This Week - Displays all jobs that have a Production Due Date that falls within this week
• Due Next Week - Displays all jobs that have a Production Due Date that falls within next week
• Needs Review - These are jobs that need to be Approved and Scheduled before the production floor sees them
• Completed Today - Jobs that were completed today.

Creating Jobs

Depending on your shop jobs may be created differently. For most custom shops or contract manufactures, jobs will be created from Sales Orders. For shops that have their own product line that can be sold to many customers, stock jobs may be created from Demand Planning (see link below).
