You can record scrap in the Job Tracking module using two different buttons; In the "Complete" tab or the “Scrap” button on the left side under the timer. Both buttons do the same thing.
Use the left side button if you need to record scrap during a job. Use the "complete" tab button when you're finishing up and entering all job information at once.

You can either scrap material that you have picked, or the part you are making.
You cannot scrap material BEFORE picking it. The Scrap button doesn't pick material or reduce inventory - it only labels material already removed from inventory.

Picking = Pulling a bar of steel off the shelf Scrapping = Throwing the material in the trash can after it has been pulled.

If existing material inventory needs to be scrapped it is recommended that the Chat option from the operation be used to notify someone that scrap needs to be removed from inventory.

When scrapping parts you're producing, don't count them in "quantity completed." The completed count should only include good parts passing to the next step.
When the Rework is submitted, “Rework operations” will be opened for each of the operations selected.
